Family and Lifestyle shoots make my heart throb. I love capturing simplistic moments of life and love between families. I have a very organic approach…the sessions are very laid back. We will get to know each other…laugh…play games with the kids to keep their interest. One thing I hear frequently is that most husbands have fun during the shoot when they usually dread family photos..they comment how easy it is and laid back. The key to great family photos is documenting your interactions between each other…not trying to over- pose interaction. These sessions can be done at an outdoor location of choice or in home. In home is a great choice especially in the winter. With either location choice an activity always makes a great time and creative shots. Activities can include baking, reading, gardening, yard play , ice cream, bubbles….anything that shows your dynamic and keeps the kids and the hubby’s interest. I am also dabbling in lifestyle videography….a video is a beautiful way to document your family to watch later when the kids are grown and you are wishing them little again. You wont regret it.
